Middle High Youth Introductory Meeting for those who are finishing 5th grade

Senior High Retreat

2006 Confirmation Class: The 2006 Confirmation Class has chosen to do a service project at the Humane Society in St. Charles. They will be helping on Saturday, May 6 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. They are looking forward to a rewarding day helping animals in need.

The class visited Holy Spirit Catholic parish for their Easter Saturday vigil. This two-hour long service featured the Holy Spirit confirmation class joining the church as well as several Baptisms. The kids noticed similarities and differences between this service and our service.

The class also visited Temple Emanuel for a contemporary Jewish Shabbat. This service was about an hour and a half long and the kids were able to discuss their thoughts with Rabbi Taub after the service and had refreshments. The kids agreed that this was a fun and different worship.

The closing potluck will be Saturday, May 20 at 6 pm. Confirmation Sunday will be Sunday, May 21. If you have any questions about Confirmation 2006, contact the church office.

Youth Party-Q: Join us at Stacey and Carole Garret's home in St. Peters, Mo on Sunday, May 7, at 4:00 pm. The Party-Q will include Garrett-burgers, croquette, and a unique outside devotion. All youth are invited to come. All you need to bring along is a side dish or a dessert and a friend! Youth may meet at the church at 3:30 pm to car pool with youth leaders. The car pool will return to the church by 6:00 pm in time for Youth Choir. Don't miss this awesome opportunity for youth fellowship! Contact Carole Garrett if you have any questions.

Finishing 5th grade??: Kids finishing 5th grade and their parents are invited to join the Middle High Youth Leaders for an introductory meeting on Sunday, May 21, at 3:30 pm. We will be discussing the wonderful world of Youth Group! The kids are then invited to stay and attend youth group from 4 pm to 5:30 pm and to join us for dinner at 5:30 pm. Contact Damond if you have any questions.

New date set for the Senior High Retreat: Calling ALL Senior High Youth!! Don't miss out on the fun on May 12-13 as our Senior High Youth and leaders head downtown for an "urban retreat" to Webster Hills UMC. Lots of fun is already planned with a "yummie" event plus a visit from a surprise guest! We plan to leave Friday, May 12 at 6:30 pm, so eat supper before you come. We will return to the church on Saturday, May 13 by 3:00 pm. If you have questions or want to sign up, contact the church office.
